Actress Han Ji Min held the first fan meeting in Japan since debut.
Han Ji Min met with the Japanese fans at the Yomiuri Hall in Tokyo, Japan on November 18th. The meeting took place thanks to the popularity of SBS’s drama ‘Rooftop Prince‘, which translated well in Japan as well. With the huge popularity of ‘Rooftop Prince’ in Japan, Han Ji Min, who played the leading female role in the drama, received a love call for a dedicated fan meeting. The fan meeting was a good size with around 1,000 fans present to meet Han Ji Min.
Han Ji Min seemed little shy at the beginning, greeting the fans in Japanese, then photo time, and drama talk followed. Some of the highlights of the drama were shown at the meeting. Han Ji Min even transformed into a chef and made an omelette-rice (aka, omurice) reminiscent of a scene from ‘Rooftop Prince’ in which Park Ha makes an omelette-rice. The fans even got to try the food Han Ji Min made.
Han Ji Min was sweet. She had personally prepared a letter for the fans and read it for the fans at the fan meeting. Han Ji Min also showed off her singing voice, singing Baek Ji Young’s ‘After a Long Time’ off of the OST for ‘Rooftop Prince’.
The fans really loved the personal touches at the meeting as she even took time to shake hands with some of the fans. Some of the fans commented as they were leaving the meeting, “I became a fan once again because Han JI Min is so beautiful and kind in person, not just in the drama”, and “I hope to see her more often in Japan.”
Han Ji Min is currently reviewing for her next project after the success of SBS’s ‘Rooftop Prince’.
