Group T-ara has made a public complaint to their agency’s CEO.
T-ara might be on a roll with the release of their new song ‘Lovey Doney’, but underneath the glamour, the girls were dealing with the dark side of popularity. The three members of T-ara, members Soyeon, Boram, and Hyomin have public complaints to their agency’s boss.
Soyeon, Boram, and Hyomin made guest appearances on the January 27th episode of JTBC ‘Quiz Show Idols’ Premiere’. The girls were asked if they had any complaints to make to their agency’s CEO and Soyeon stood in front of the camera with members Boram and Hyomin, with a serious look on her face.
Soyeon stated, “We had no vacation since we debuted and in the past 12 months we haven’t gotten a single day off”.
Then MC Kim Gura asked, “Aren’t there members who work less than others?” and all three members answered, “At this moment as we speak the other members are on schedule doing something. Somewhere, whatever it is, they are doing something. Not one member gets to rest and all of us have schedules every single day”.
The popularity of K-Pop is growing exponentially and as a result the demand for the idols presence is also growing at par. Many idol groups are left to deal with killer schedules.
The netizens commented on Soyeon’s public outcry, “Now they fly them all over the world, so they can’t even sleep at proper hours”, “On one hand they are blessed to be so successful, there are so many idol groups that just disappear after few TV appearances”, “They are finally letting it out. I hope the CEO watches it and gets his act together”, and so on.

The CEO of their agency wasted a lot of money in the stock market and that’s probably why he’s working T-ara to death, to makeup the lost money.
