Group SHINee set the best ranking of all time by international male artist by placing #2 on the Oricon DVD chart.
According to the information announced by Oricon on the 18th, SHINee THE 1ST CONCERT IN JAPAN “SHINee WORLD” has sold 29,000+ copies, placing it on the #2 spot on the chart.
It is the best record set by any international male artists since the inception of the DVD chart in 1999. It has surpassed the record set by 2PM and the band Underworld, which were placed at #4.
The DVD contains footage from SHINee’s first concert held in Tokyo Yoyogi National Stadium.
SHINee has also set a record last year on the Oricon, when the group sold 90,000+ copies of their first single ‘Replay’, making it the best selling single by any new Korean artist.
