Lee Seung Gi to make debut in Japan. Budokan concert confirmed

It has been revealed that Lee Seung Gi‘s concert in Budokan, Japan has been confirmed.

According to a report by Oricon Style magazine on the 30th, Lee Seung Gi held a press conference on the same day in Japan and he has officially announced that he’ll be releasing the debut single, ‘Dating Generation’ on March 6th.

Lee Seung Gi also made big news when he announced that he will be holding a concert in Budokan on June 1st.

According to Oricon, holding a concert just 3 months after debuting is the fastest ever time by any Korean artist.

The report reads, “Lee Seung Gi had difficult time speaking Japanese, but he did his best so the Japanese fans could understand him”.

Lee Seung Gi stated during the press conference, “IU is debuting at the same time and I think that helps pave ways for solo singers to be successful”.

Oricon Style described Lee Seung Gi as, “Lee Seung Gi debuted in 2004 at the age of 17, with the song ‘Because You Are My Woman’ and he won the new artist award on the same year. His drama ‘Brilliant Legacy’ had recorded a 41.7% ratings and he is currently the spokesperson for 11 major brands. He is considered the national younger brother of Korea and the Japanese fans are already excited for his debut”.
