The ’2012 Asia Model Awards’ ceremony was held at the Seoul Olympic Park, Olympic Hall.
The event was organized by the ‘Korean Model Association’ and the ‘Model Center International’. It is the largest model event in Asia and this year’s ceremony was held under the slogan, ‘Asia Is One’.
The event was held for two days on the 17th and the 18th, members of Kara (Han Seung Yeon, Goo Hara, Park Gyuri, Nicole) attended the event on the 18th to accept the ‘Asia Star’ award.
The ‘Asia Model Awards’ is held to recognize those who’ve positively influenced their industry with art and culture. Some other famous names to win the awards were Choi Ji Woo, IU, and BEAST.
