Actress Hwang Jung Eum looks back to her days as a member of Sugar.
Hwang Jung Eum’s KBS ‘Star Life Theater’ episode #4 aired on the 12th.
Hwang Jung Eum used to tan her skin and wear heavy makeup when she was a member of the idol group Sugar. She spoke about her experience, “If you ask me about the time that I looked the ugliest since my birth, I would have to pick when I was a member of Sugar”.
She continued, “Things weren’t working out and I my heart wasn’t right, so my life was basically described on my face and I wasn’t pretty. So when I didn’t wear makeup I didn’t even want to step out of the house”.
Then the production team asked, “Do you think you are pretty now?” and Hwang Jung Eum answered, “I’m not perfect but I try to live satisfied of how I look. If I tried to be any prettier I think I would mess up my face. I don’t want the help of plastic surgery. I want my heart to get prettier and as a result to look prettier naturally”.
