2 Months member Do Dae Yoon apologized to the fans of Big Bang member Taeyang and singer IU and also announced will not tweet for a while.
Do Dae Yoon tweeted on January 17th, “Things got out of hand. I apologize to IU’s fan cafe members and I also apologize to Taeyang sunbae’s fan cafe members. I will not be tweeting for a while! Tweet tweet! I’ll take a break then come back!”
Do Dae Yoon had tweeted in the morning of the same day, “Sunbaenim! I’m a fan! How do I get started if I want to dance well like you sunbaenim? Ah, and have a prosperous new year and be happy” then also tweeted, “Quickly gotta dance well like Young Bae sunbae to turn IU’s eyes towards Do Dae Yoon. Hee hee hee. Gonna have to bulk up too. Hee hee.” (Dong Young Bae is Taeyangs birth name)
Controversy brewed because some of the netizens thought Do Dae Yoon had also tweeted, “Gotta practice dance to be like Taeyang sunbaehim. But I would be taller, right?” then deleted it.
Netizen comments on Do Dae Yoon’s mention of Taeyang included, “It was careless”, “Do Dae Yoon better stop tweeting”, “It was just a mistake”, and “It’s something you can just laugh off and that’s it.”
