4-member group 2AM officially landed in Japan.
According to Japanese media such as Sankei Sports, 2AM released their Japanese debut album on January 11th and for promotional events landed in Haneda Airport in Tokyo, Japan on January 10th with over 200 fans waiting for them.
2AM start their first promotions in Japan with the release of their debut single ‘Never Let You Go’. The song is the Japanese version of the hit song titled ‘Can’t Let You Go Even If I Die’ in Korea.
Jo Kwon said in Japanese in the welcoming by the fans, “we finally debut in Japan. Please cheer us on.” 2AM will hold the High Touch Event and live performances on January 14th and 15th in Japan.
2AM got a good start to their promotion in Japan on the 4th, when they were ranked #1 on Tower Records’ online pre-order chart. The Japanese tour tickets which went on sales on the 17th were sold out in 10 minutes, showing exactly how hot the group is in Japan even before its official debut.
2AM are confident to continue the K-Pop wave with its own unique recipe of smooth ballad and the Japanese fans have responded with a big welcome.
