The ’2011 SBS Gayo Daejun’ closed its curtains having presented so many impressive performances by some of the best artists.
There werer 37 teams of artists represented at the Gayo Daejun and as such, the performances were over the top.
Some of the collaborative performances were notable in particular. 5 of the collaborative performances that wowed the viewers and audience members were commented on. Performance videos at the bottom.
-The sexy icons representing the girls groups: Ga In, Fei, Han Sun Hwa, Jiyeon, Hyorin, Hyuna, & G.Na
The beautiful ladies of some of the best girl groups put on a sexy performance and had the atmosphere heat up. 4Minute member Hyuna, Brown Eyed Girls member Ga In, Miss A member Fei, Secret member Han Sun Hwa, T-ara member Jiyeon, Sistar member Hyorin, and G.Na were some of the representatives of the best girl groups around. The sensual waves, the powerful moves, and the sexy choreography of the beauties truly was unprecedented.
-The fresh new couple: IU and Yang Yoseob
National little sister IU and B2ST member Yang Yoseob became a fresh new couple for a moment. IU and Yang Yoseob sang G.Na’s ‘What I Want to Do Once I Have A Lover’ together. The two ‘sweethearts’ wore matching white outfits. The romantic feel of the performance was as if watching a prince and a princess right out of a fairy tale.
-Dating Generation? Lee Seung Gi meets Yoona
MC’s Lee Seung Gi and Yoona (SNSD member) put on a stage as sweet as the one of IU and Yang Yoseob. Lee Seung Gi and Yoona put on a stage set to Lee Seung Gi’s ‘Dating Generation’. Even the narration of the song was perfectly handled. Lee Seung Gi said, “I really have something to say. Um..well..Should we lov, lov, date” and Yoona’s acting was perfectly said to the line “You mean we should date?” Lee Seung Gi and Yoona have some history of mutual admiration so the performance was that much more heated.
-The Hip Hop warriors are here! Gary in the house!
’2011 SBS Gayo Daejun’ did not ignore hip hop. 2PM member Taecyeon, B2ST member Yong Joon Hyung, MBLAQ member Mir, INFINITE member Hoya heated up the stage with Dynamic Duo’s ‘ChoolChek’. When the incredibly talented member of Leessang, Gary came onto the stage, the heat of the moment was unbelievable. The appearance of Yoon Mi Rae and Dynamic Duo even the fellow musicians get up and enjoy the party.
-Kim Hyun Joong meets After School
After School member Kahi and Nana put on a sizzling performance with Kim Hyun Joong. For their collaborative performance, Kim Hyun Joong and Kahi danced intertwined in a powerful yet sensual way. But then Kim Hyun Joong Surprisingly turned to Nana for a ‘kiss’ performance that drew sighs out of many female fans.
The ’2011 SBS Gayo Daejun’ was an energetic ceremony with many of the top stars. There were high expectations on the collaborative efforts never put forth together and they did not disappoint.

Rappers, the real talents are Gary and Dynamic Duo. I could care less about the cheesy duet performances. Kim Hyun Jung’s performance was cool and the girls with Run The World were awesome.
