Comedian Yoo Jae Suk and actress Lee Min Jung showed two extreme reactions in a cable car with the glass bottom and brought laughter to the viewers.
On the December 18th episode of SBS‘s variety program ‘Running Man’ the ‘Hong Kong 24 hours’ special, the members set out on individual missions to find the real medal out of the 9 medals as per the last command from Jackie Chan.
During the race, the members needed to get on the Ngong Ping cable car, and Yoo Jae Suk, who is known to be a scaredy cat stuck to the corner of the cable car trying to appeal by saying that he is afraid of heights.
Yoo Jae Suk was completely fearful in the 10 minutes in the cable car then eventually started to get mad at the VJ. Yoo Jae Suk said to the VJ that the cable car was leaning because of the VJ and said, “I am shaking here. Come here.”
However, in order to carry out the mission, he needed to look through the glass bottom of the cable car for hints. Yoo Jae Suk had been going with his eyes closed but he just barely looked toward the bottom shaking, to obtain the hint.
Lee Min Jung was the exact opposite of Yoo Jae Suk. Lee Min Jung leisurely enjoyed the view. Lee Min Jung was not afraid at all and was even playing around in it saying, “When you see action movies, the bad guy jumps off and the ground breaks open:” and easily obtained the hint.
Lee Min Jung and Yoo Jae Suk, their reactions spanning the opposite of the spectrum brought laughter to the viewers.

Yup yup. I was just talking about his professionalism from the past episode. I was so surprised that he actually jumped because I always knew was very much afraid of height.

Cable car really is difficult to ride for people afraid of height and you add the fact that it has glass floor.. hehe YJS must have been scared s#it, but he’s a pro.

Yoo Jae Suk is so professional though. He’s always been afraid of heights but he continues to challenge himself for the show. A true professional.
