Who is the Best of the Best among ‘Running Man’ members?
The December 25th episode of SBS‘s ‘Running Man’ was the ‘Superpowers Special’. For the 2nd ‘Best of the Best Match’, the 7 ‘Running Man’ members transformed into heroes with Superpowers for an added excitement.
HaHa became the Time Controller. Kim Jong Kook earned the Sixth Sense with the ability to find out the location of the opponent. Gary became the duplicator, who is able to duplicate himself. Song Ji Hyo became the Mind Controller with the power to oust the person who takes her name tag off. Ji Suk Jin became the Phoenix, able to revive 3 times. Lee Kwang Soo earned the power to deal out one Death Note. And last but not least, Yoo Jae Suk became the Space controller.
HaHa used his power as the Time controller to turn back the time reviving everyone. Lee Kwang Soo dealt the Death Note to Kim Jong Kook as soon as they were revived to take the Commander out of the equation. However, Lee Kwang Soo took off Song Ji Hyo’s name tag effectively taking himself out thanks to her powers.
Ji Suk Jin was a victim of the collaborative efforts of Yoo Jae Suk and Gary. In the end, team Yoo Jae Suk-HaHa and team Gary-Song Ji Hyo went against each other in the fight for survival.
HaHa and Song Ji Hyo attacked each other taking each other out simultaneously. Yoo Jae Suk was left to fight against Gary who had his duplicates named ‘lol lol’s.
When Gary was going up on an escalator, Yoo Jae Suk followed him to attack but got blocked by the defenses of ‘lol lol’s.

Then eventually, Gary attacked Yoo Jae Suk and successfully took him out. Gary, who was the glorious winner of the very 1st ‘Best of the Best Match’ became in fact, the ‘Best of the Best’ in the 2nd match as well, proving once again who is the true top dog.
Gary named a ‘Trip to Europe’ as his wish and the production team granted the wish. Gary turned to Song Ji Hyo and hugged her asking, “Do you wanna come with?” bringing laughter to all.
