Moon Chae Won & Park Shi Hoo win the Best Awards at KBS Drama Awards

The stars of the historic drama ‘The Princess’s Man’ have been named for the Best Actor/Actress Awards.

Park Shi Hoo was named for the ‘Best Actor Award’ first and he said, “It’s lucky to have met ‘The Princess’s Man’” thanking the staff and the cast. Park Shi Hoo almost cried as he said, “This year, I came a step closer to my goal. I will be an actor with staying power in the future. I want to share the joy with my fans who are my treasure #1.”

When Moon Chae Won was announced as the winner of the ‘Best Actress Award’ and she covered her face at the announcement as if very emotional at the wonderful news of well deserved recognition. Moon Chae Won shared a joyful hug with her colleague of ‘The Princess’s Man’ Park Shi Hoo. It also made an impression that she also shared a hug with the presenter Moon Geun Young.

Moon Chae Won said, “I really thank you. Having worked hard is just the basics so I couldn’t even think (that I would win). ‘The Princess’s Man’ had a lot of troubles and there were a lot of talks about it too. I am happy that it all wrapped up well and I am able to stand here.”

Moon Chae Won emotionally added, “I learned that I was lacking myself. Going to the set felt like going to battle everyday. Working on this project, I learned that I love this fight that I go to fight out everyday. As I was fighting this battle I realized, this is the fight I love the most”, revealing how much she loved her craft of acting.

Moon Chae Won also thanked many saying, “Thank you, the director and the sunbaes who have trusted me and cheered me on even when I felt shaken. I thank my colleagues. I really loved my role within the heavy responsibilities. I will love that role more than anyone in the future too.”

Moon Chae Won and Park Shi Hoo have really reached out and touched the viewers on ‘The Princess’s Man’ and the awards were in recognition of their work.
