Lee Seung Gi to Kang Ho Dong, “It’s time you came back”

Lee Seung Gi‘s public message to Kang Ho Dong is the latest headline.

SBS ‘Strong Heart’ aired a Christmas Special episode on the 20th. As any Christmas special should, ‘Strong Heart’ was jam packed with big name guests, but no one seemed to have anything special planned for the holidays.

When even the currently hottest entertainer, IU confessed of not having any special plans Lee Seung Gi stated, “It would be kind of fun if we do a Bangkok special with many entertainers as guests”. (Bangkok: slang used in Korea, Bang = room, kok = stationary, meaning staying in your room doing nothing).

Then suddenly Lee Seung Gi looked straight into the camera with serious attitude but with a warm smile on his face and said, “Hyungnim, it’s time to come out of your room now” to everyone’s surprise. He didn’t specifically call to Kang Ho Dong’s name, but the entire country knew exactly to whom Lee Seung Gi was talking to. (Hyungnim: Hyung = an older male of family or close acquaintance from a male point of view, nim = a form of endearment or respect)

All the guests applauded thunderously and the ‘Strong Heart’ team put on a caption saying, “We miss you” and they expressed how much they miss Kang Ho Dong.
