Kim Tae Hee brings hope to a boy suffering from leukemia

Kim Tae Hee gave autographed baseball bat, glove, and baseball to a child suffering from leukemia through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Korea.

Kim Tae Hee is currently spending most of her time in Japan due to her drama schedule there. However, Kim Tae Hee heard through the Make-A-Wish Foundation that Hyung Joon (13 years old), who dreams of becoming a baseball player, is a fan of hers so she personally bought the baseball bat, glove, and baseball, then autographed the items with a personal message as a gift to Hyung Joon.

Hyung Joon, who received the unexpected gifts said, “My health is not great yet but I will get my treatments everyday with the bat from Kim Tae Hee noona right next to my bed and I will play baseball with my friends”, showing the strength to fight his illness.

Kim Tae Hee has been appointed as the spokesperson for the Korean Make-A-Wish Foundation back in 2005 and has been meeting with children with incurable diseases on a regular bases to cheer them on and to share time together.
