Infinity Challenge pokes fun at JTBC with Jung Joon Ha

‘Infinity Challenge’ poked fun at JTBC with their subtitles.

On the December 10th episode of MBC‘s ‘Infinity Challenge’, part 2 of ‘Myung Soo is 12 years old’ was presented.

In the installment, Jung Joon Ha transformed into his sister. The long hair and the ‘beautiful’ appearance drew the eyes. The subtitle under his ‘beautiful’ appearance said, ‘Beauty shining like 100 fluorescent lamps’.

There was a similar situation on JTBC’s TV Joseon‘s ‘Choi Park’s Preview Talk’ where politician Park Geun Hye was on the show and they placed a subtitle under her shot that read, ‘An aura as if 100 florescent lamps were on’. It appears that ‘Infinity Challenge’ was presenting a parody of that.

‘Infinity Challenge’ had presented a special on TV wars with parodies of excessive competition among different channels. As the competition among programs become more and more pointed, ‘Infinity Challenge’ put its finger on the problems of the production teams as well as the advertisers. Many were reading into this episode’s subtitle to be a parody of it all.
