Han Ga In, Kim Soo Hyun, & Jung Il Woo have their first script reading

The new MBC drama ‘The Moon That Embraced The Sun’ wrapped up the casting process and went in to the script reading mode.

The script reading for ‘The Moon That Embraced The Sun’ took place at the MBC Dream Center on December 25th. Han Ga In, Kim Soo Hyun, Jung Il Woo, Kim Min Seo, Kim Young Ae, Yang Mi Kyung and other adult actors to appear at the beginning of the drama were all present for a pleasant experience at the script reading.

Yang Mi Kyung said, “It’s a really cold day but I am happy everyone got together with a bright face.” Actress Kim Sun Kyung even brought in a cake for Christmas helping everyone relax.





Kim Do Hoon PD who will be directing ‘The Moon That Embraced The Sun’ said, “I have a great feel since we all got together for rehearsals the day of Christmas when there is so much love and blessings. This is a historic drama but there is a melodramatic aspect also please concentrate on the personal desires of each character.”

Han Ga In plays a character who is the first love of the crown prince but loses memory and lives as a female shaman. Han Ga In said, “The script is very fun and the feel is good.” Han Ga In looked as radiant as ever even at the script reading.

‘The Moon That Embraced The Sun’ adds a dose of fiction and fantasy into the life in the palace in Joseon Era and it promises to be an interesting turn. The drama will premier on January 4th of 2012.
