The result of ’2011 Melon Music Award’ TOP 10 voting is in.
Melon Music Award’s host organizer Loen Entertainment announced that the result for voting performed in conjunction with MBC Plus Media, from October 27th through November 6th was in. The first round voting for the TOP 30 resulted in the top 10 artists as followed, Big Bang, IU, 2NE1, Leessang, Park Jung Hyun, BEAST (B2ST), Super Junior, SECRET, Sistar, and f(x).
The TOP list is mostly comprised of idols who are leading the K-POP wave around the world. The only non-idols are the hip hop duo Leessang and the queen of R&B Park Jung Hyun.
The Top 10 artists will move on to the 2nd round of voting, which will start from the 7th and each will be given the ‘Top 10′ award. The artist that receives the most votes in the second round will be given the top award of the ceremony called, ‘The Artist’ award. The result of the 2nd round voting will be announced in the awards ceremony, scheduled to be held on the 24th.
