Jinwoon and Hyorin Dream High 2 leads

Jinwoon and Hyorin are about to debut as actors.

According to a few insiders, group 2AM member Jinwoon and Sistar member Hyorin have been cast for the leading roles for KBS 2TV’s ‘Dream High 2′ to air on January 30th next year. ‘Dream High 2′ is a follow up to last year’s ‘Dream High’ which was a huge hit with popular idol group members like 2PM’s Taecyeon and Wooyoung, IU, Miss A’s Suzy, and T-ara’s Eungjung making appearances.

Since many stars of the new generation have been born then, the casting of ‘Dream High 2′ has also been at the center of attention with popular idol group members and new actors being mentioned for casting.

An insider added, “There are not many high teen dramas these days so to be on ‘Dream High 2′ alone would be the road to stardom. Since the backdrop is an arts high school where they dream of becoming stars, it’s a great piece for the idol group members to debut as actors since you need acting skills as well as singing and performance skills”.

Aside from Jinwoon and Hyorin, few of the other actors including Kang So Ra and Kim Jung Tae have been confirmed as cast for ‘Dream High 2′, and shooting will start in December.

Jinwoon, as a 2AM member, he has been many on variety shows including couple of MBC programs . Hyorin, as a member of Sistar has been on KBS 2TV’s ‘Immortal Song’ and increased in popularity with her vocal talents and charisma.
