Busan International Film Festival opening film ‘Only You’ was shown to the lucky limited audience in Busan, Korea.
At the 16th Busan International Film Festival opening on October 6th, ‘Only You’ was shown for the first time with the Korean and international press present.
At the meeting with the press right after the screening, So Ji Sub discussed his feeling towards working on a romantic movie after some time away from the genre.
When the press asked how satisfied he was about the movie, So Ji Sub answered, “There are always regrets about every piece. There are probably no actors who are 100% satisfied with their work”.
So Ji Sub added, “I personally like the scenes where I’m working out with clothes off”, showing off his funny side.
So Ji Sub also said wittily, “A month before shooting started the boxing lessons and just before shooting started the ligament on both wrists were stretched so I had a hard time. Unlike in the past, it’s tough to do action scenes”, causing laughter in the press yet again.
‘Only You’ is the story of a former boxer Chul Min (played by So Ji Sub) and Jung Hwa (played by Han Hyo Joo) who is gradually losing her eye sight. In the Movie, So Ji Sub’s character is one with a dark past but self-sacrificing to protect the one he loves.
