Hyun Bin‘s drama ‘Secret Garden’ has won big.
‘Secret Garden’ has won 2 categories of awards on October 2nd at the ‘Korea Drama Awards’ with the Best Writer category as well as the ‘Grand Award’ (the top prize, in other words). The ‘Best actor award’, however, went to Lee Min Ho for ‘City Hunter’. The ‘Best Actress’ award was won by Yum Jung Ah for ‘Royal Family’.
‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal’ snagged the Best Producer award. The Best Supporting Actor category went to ‘Giant”s Joo Sang Wook and the Best Supporting Actress was won by Lee Yuri for ‘Twinkle Twinkle’. ‘Dream high”s Kim Soo Hyun won both Best Male Newcomer and the Popularity Award and tied at 2 awards along with Lee Min Ho who also was awarded the Hallyu Star award. Best Female Newcomer was won by Im Soo Hyang for ‘New Tales of Gisaeng’.
Huh Gak was able to win the ‘Drama OST’ category with ‘Don’t forget me’ from ‘Best love’.
‘Korea Drama Festival’ kicked off with the ‘Drama Awards’ on October 2nd and is scheduled to continue for a total of 9 days with different programs including some that call for viewer’s participation.

The best actor award for lee min ho Oppa was way well deserved. Hyun bin was not bad but still no comparison to lee min ho Oppa.

I agree. I like Hyun Bin as an actor and he did a great job on Secret Garden, but Min Ho oppa was well deserving of the best actor award. I don’t think anyone else was on par with him.

Too bad. Secret garden was one of the best drama ever. Better than city hunter. Although actor wise I think both Hyun bin and lee min ho did well

Hyun Bin deserved the best actor. But of course they won’t give it to the man who couldn’t be at the awards.
