Kim Ha Neul and T.O.P have been confirmed to play a couple in a new drama.
Kim Ha Neul and T.O.P will star in the new drama ‘Absolute He’, which is scheduled to air around March or April of next year. This will be Kim Ha Neul’s 3rd consecutive starring role opposite younger male stars.
‘Absolute He’ is an adaptation of the Japanese manga ‘Absolute Boyfriend’ and the whole premise is based on the notion that one can custom order a perfect boyfriend to have a relationship with. The story begins with a woman who’s recently been dumped by her boyfriend comes acquire a robot boyfriend.
‘Absolute He’ has already been made into dramas in Japan and Taiwan. It saw great success in both countries and the casting for the Korean version was eagerly awaited by the fans of the manga.
The production company of the drama was in talks with both MBC and SBS to air the drama, but insiders reveal they have chosen to partner up with MBC. The director for the drama has not been chosen yet, but they’ll began filming from December as soon as a director is hired.
