Big Bang start their official promotional activities with Seungri, Taeyang, and T.O.P without Daesung and G-Dragon.
Seungri, Taeyang, and T.O.P. will perform at the ’2011 K-POP Super Concert’ on October 28th at the Kwanganri beach in Busan on the stage specially erected for the occasion. The concert is produced by the SBS production team and will air on SBS on November 6th.
An SBS insider revealed through a phone conversation with NewsEN on October 21st, “Big Bang’s Taeyang, Seungri, and T.O.P. will participate in the Super Concert. However, the 3 members will not be on stage together rather put on separate performances”. In other words, they will not perform as Big Bang but will be on stage as a solo each.
Daesung was involved in a car accident on May 31st running over a person who was already passed out on the road and crashing into a cab subsequently. Daesung has come to an agreement with the victim’s family and is limiting any contacts with the outside at this point. Daesung will officially make a comeback through the ‘YG Family Concert’ December 3rd and 4th at the Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Stadium.
It has not been clarified if G-Dragon will be able to perform at the YG Concert. G-Dragon had been under investigation for smoking marijuana he mistakenly thought was a cigarette, handed to him by a Japanese fan in a club back in May. In September, the prosecutor’s office has decided on suspension of indictment as it was a first offense and the amount of marijuana detected was minimal. G-Dragon has stopped all activities other than finishing the shooting of an ad secretly.

The mistake that g dragon made was that he didn’t man up and tell the truth. He gave some weak excuse about how some Japanese fan handed him a dope and that even angered the Japanese. He’s done as far as Japan goes but I think he still has a shot in other parts of Asia. Maybe not China but South East Asian nations might be a little more open. Then again, if he can’t work as a singer in Korea then no one in Asia will care for him anyways. Big Bang doesn’t have the sort of fame in Europe or in America to start their careers there either. So things are looking pretty bleak for gd. I’m all for legalizing marijuana but this debate isn’t about that. If you live in a country that has outlawed dope then just don’t do it. YOu have so much and you are loved so much. Why would you waste away all that for a dope? He’s got no one to blame but himself.
