Actress Song Hye Kyo expresses her honest opinion on being compared to her senior colleague Shim Eun Ha.
Song Hye Kyo was present for the production report for the movie ‘Today’ on September 26th, at Lotte Cinema Piccadilly. The actress was asked, “You will necessarily be compared to Shim Eun Ha from the director’s previous movie ‘Art museum by the zoo’. How do you feel about that?”. Song Hye Kyo responded smiling, “It’s an honor.”
Song Hye Kyo added, “I personally have been a fan of Shim Eun Ha sunbae and have always liked her. It really makes me feel great (that she is to be compared to her senior colleague). Depending on the response to the movie, it’s true that not all things said may be good things. But still, she is a sunbae I really really like so it’s an honor just to be mentioned alongside her.”
‘Today’ is about a documentary PD Da Hye (played by Song Hye Kyo) who forgives the 17 year old killer of her fiancé. Her forgiveness results in an unforeseen effect bringing her emotional chaos and sadness leading to a rush of emotions.
‘Today’ is scheduled to open October 27th.
