Actress Kim Tae Hee‘s first Japanese drama’s teaser has been revealed.
The teaser was posted on an online community board recently under the title, “Kim Tae Hee female-lead Japanese drama teaser”.
The teaser is for the Fuji TV drama ‘Me and My Star’s 99 days’, which is scheduled to premier on October 23rd. Kim Tae Hee and Nishijima Hidetoshi will have a sweet romance brewing between the two in the drama.
In the teaser, the drama is introduced in Japanese and in the middle Nishijima Hidetoshi asks Kim Tae Hee a question and she answers in Japanese with a cute foreign accent.
Kim Tae Hee will play a role that’s very much like the real her, an A-list actress from Korea named Han Yoona who is in Japan to film a drama. Nishijima Hidetoshi will play her bodyguard, a bachelor and a man with few words.
Nishijima spoke about working with Kim Tae Hee, “I wanted to have a romance that could touch the heart, so I was happy when I was offered this role. I heard Kim Tae Hee was a smart and a beautiful actress.”
Kim Tae Hee spoke about the drama, “I’m very excited to work with a Japanese actor and a Director. Even though we speak different languages, I hope that we’ll improve our communication as we film. I hope that it’s going to be a drama that will appeal to both Korean and the Japanese viewers. There are lots of lines that are in Japanese, but I’m working very hard on it, so please look forward to it.”
