Leather is evolving as the seasons pass. Just few years ago leather was only considered for jackets or pants, but overtime it’s gotten lighter and easier to handle and clothing brands started mass producing leather one piece dresses and tops.
Actresses Kim Tae Hee and Kim Min Hee have fashioned the same leather mini dress. Kim Tae Hee wore it for ‘High Cut’ magazine photoshoot and Kim Min Hee for ‘BEAN POLE by JUUN.J’. We decided to analyze how the two fashion icons wore the provocative outfit.
The mini dress which Kim Tae Hee and Kim Min Hee wore was an outfit from ‘Theyskens Theory by Bleeker’ 2011 spring/summer collection. It’s a black leather sleeveless mini dress. Its lines cut in many directions to reveal the body form as tightly as possible. The shoulder line has been sharply finished with a white color. The price, $1,300 USD.
Kim Tae Hee? : Kim Tae Hee was provocative. Her sexiness has always been overshadowed by her preference in the the elegant and graceful look. The tight mini dress had revealed the curves and the lines we’ve never seen before of the actress. She wore bold accessories to emphasize the powerful atmosphere. The smokey makeup accentuated her eyes and the volumized hair created a captivating scene.
Kim Min Hee? : Kim Min Hee went back and fort from chic to sexy. Her long arms and legs were tailor made to wear this mini dress. She opted for zero accessories. She did however choose to hold a white shoulder bag for a chic look. Lastly, she wore a wet hair to add to the sex appeal.
Same outfit with different feel for each. Both actresses have displayed their own style with fantastic results. Kim Tae Hee has successfully made a provocative transformation. The short and tight mini dress allowed her to display her sexy figure which had been overshadowed by her elegance for so many years.
Kim Min Hee displayed a sophisticated look. Because of her skinny figure the dress looked loose. However, it didn’t look at all out of place on her. Her confident pose and the volumized hair was a flawless look for her.

I usually really like kim min hee but it looks like she lost too much weight in the pic. i mean, it looks like 3 of her could fit into that dress. kim tae hee looks like a woman and the dress fits her just right. maybe the stylists just didn’t fit the dress right for kim min hee.

i usually like kim tae hee but she almost looks fat next to kim min hee pic. my vote is for kim min hee. i think she were it best. she’s got the hot bod in this pic.

I have to say kim tae he’d hands down. Kim min hee can’t even fill out the dress like a woman. On kim min he it looks borrowed and on Kim tae hee she owns it.
