Kim Tae Hee, the first thing she wanted packed to Japan are 4 boxes of ramyun?

While in Japan for a long stay, what would be the first thing she wanted packed as a “necessity”?

Recently after confirmation that Kim Tae Hee will be starring in Fuji TV drama ‘My 99 days with a star’, she flew to Tokyo on her own. The trip was for Kim Tae Hee to acclimate herself in Tokyo and to learn Japanese.

On September 19th, a staff from her management company joined her in Japan. The staff joined her for the start of filming on September 20th and to bring her some of the necessities she didn’t get a chance to pack previously.

Some of the items included in the necessities were Kim Tae Hee’s laptop, a few books, kimchi and a few side dishes for her meals. Kim Tae Hee uses the laptop for looking up articles and information and the side dishes Kim Tae Hee’s mother herself made were also very important.

However, there was something more interesting in her care package. There were 4 boxes of 20 ramyun each. There were a few different kinds that included some of the more popular brands in Korea S ramyun and Jajangmyun.

It’s well known that Kim Tae Hee enjoys ramyun. Whenever she has overnight shootings for ads or dramas, she used to eat the cup ramyun a lot.

Kim Tae Hee’s management discussed, “She will be staying in Japan for about 3 months or so till the end of the year. So it was necessary for us to pack a lot of things that she needed. We packed quite a few ramyun because she really loves it.”

‘My 99 Days with a Star’ is to start filming before the opening of the drama on TV. Kim Tae Hee will play a character not unlike herself in reality. She will play the role of Han Yu Na, a Korean actress. Her partner who falls in love with Han Yu Na in the drama will be played by Nishijima Hidetoshi who is a well known actor for his superb acting.

‘My 99 Days with a Star’ is scheduled to air in October in Japan.
