Hyun Bin to MC the Marine Corp Band Annual Concert

Hyun Bin will MC an event for the first time in his career.

Hyun Bin, who is serving in the Marine Corps currently, will be the official MC of the 22nd Marine Corps Band Concert on 9/30/11 at 7:30pm to take place in KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul.

A Marine Corps representative’s phone conversation with OSEN on the 20th revealed, “Hyun Bin will be the MC of the program but will not sing or anything.”

The concert is marking the 60th year of the take off of the Marine Corps Band and is Hyun Bin’s first try at MC’ing an event, and as such, is drawing a lot of attention. The Concert is open to public also. There are about 500 seats available on a first-come-first-served basis thru the Marine corps homepage from the 23rd thru the 25th.

Singers Jung Soo Ra, Yoon Hang Gi as well as Oh Jong Hyuk who himself is serving in the Marine Corps currently are scheduled to appear.

Hyun Bin is also set to join The 3rd Marine Corps Seoul Reclamation Marathon on September 25 as a model soldier.
