2NE1 place No.1 on Japan’s iTunes Chart

Group 2NE1 is having a fantastic debut if not a perfect one.

The group’s new album which has been released on the 21st has hit No.1 on the next day on the 22nd on Japan’s iTunes Charts.

2NE1 has also ranked No.4 on the Oricon Daily Chart and No.1 in the Pop Album category.

This mini album is the Japanese version of the mini album that has been released in Korea back in August. The album contains the songs ‘I Am The Best’, ‘Lonely’, ‘Hate You’, “Ugly’, and ‘Don’t Stop The Music’ for a total of 5 tracks.

2NE1 is on a Japanese concert tour simultaneously with the release of the group’s 1st mini album release. The group has attracted 24,000 concert goers from the 19th and the 20th concerts in Yokohama. 2NE1 has 4 upcoming concerts, two on the 24th and the 25th in Kobe World Memorial Hall and two more on October 1st and the 2nd in Chiba Makuhari Messe.
