Jo Kwon (2AM) claims he couldn’t even dream of dating before his debut because of Park Jin Young (founder and former CEO of JYP Entertainment).
On the episode of ‘Happy Together‘ to be aired on the 11th, Jo Kwon stated, “I was brainwashed by Park Jin Young to not date anyone back when I was only a trainee”. Park Jin Young told him that unless he was willing to sacrifice as much as ‘Rain‘ had to achieve success, he wasn’t going to successful.
Jo Kwon continued, “After a while i heard it so much I made it my own philosophy. I not only not dated anyone, but I also told the same story to the girls of ‘Wonder Girls‘ and ‘Miss A‘, and as well as the boys of ‘2PM‘”.
The host of the show then asked, “Did anyone show interest in you?”, which he answered, “I had opportunities and I’ve felt love before, but I tried my best to suppress those feelings”.
